Not every great story fits into 30 seconds.  The team at The Penguin Empire has experience producing web series, digital shorts, music-videos & long-form branded content.

Empire Trivia: Penguin Empire director Stephen McCallum holds the in-house record for viral views.  Over 15 million and counting for his marriage equality video made for Get Up Australia.

The Hatchery is the banner under which we incubate big ideas, ideas that don’t fit into the typical broadcast framework. In this space, The Penguin Empire applies our skill for effective story telling and creative problem solving to bring challenging ideas to life.

These are the kinds of ideas that often require collaboration between parties of different skill sets.  We’ve worked with technologists, programmers, musicians, event planners, manufacturers, city councils even animal trainers to get the job done and the story told.

We’ve made interactive videos, software that turns brain-waves into music and co-ordinated city-wide stunts.  If you have a big idea, and no idea how to solve it, the hatchery can make it happen.

frontroomThe Penguin Empire can provide production services for TVCs, feature-films and television shooting in Australia through their Perth office and national network.  Our team has experience co-ordinating shoots around the country, in the remote areas of Western Australia and around the world – including the US and China.

Western Australia’s unique landscapes, film-friendly urban environments, reliable climate and highly-skilled crews make it an ideal location to produce cost-effective, high-end productions.
