Freelancers of any experience level may apply.

Freelancers are utilized on a project-by-project basis, but The Empire likes to form an ongoing relationship with its freelancers, bringing them back again and again wherever possible.

The Penguin Empire holds it productions, employees and contractors to the highest safety standards. Each project is produced according to The Penguin Empire’s OHS policies and the project’s safety report. In addition to these documents, crew members should be familiar with SPAA’s production company workplace safety handbook, which can be downloaded here.

The Penguin Empire has an ongoing commitment to provide work experience opportunities to emerging talents from within the industry.

Please note any applicants looking to complete work experience or an internship with The Penguin Empire must be in their final year of university studies (or equivalent).
