The Penguin Empire

EMERGENCE FESTIVAL

We Penguins don’t need much of an excuse to head down south, but when The Emergence Festival brings together some of the most exciting advertising, new-media, software and film-making talent from around the world and then asks to play some of The Penguin Empire’s latest work on the opening night (in exchange for free entry, food and drinks) there is not a single reason to say no. Unless David Bowie was in town. We do love David Bowie.

Fortunately David Bowie was NOT in town, leaving us free to head to Margaret River to attend the opening night of Western Australia’s premiere “anti-conference”. You can read more about how the festival played out via Ron Samuel’s campaign brief diary and look into attending next year’s festival via their website.

We look forward to seeing you all down their next year. Assuming Bowie’s not in town.
