Klingons who find themselves watching South Australian TV have a new reason not to time-skip the ads. For the first time (possibly in the entirety of human-history) a TVC has gone to air in their native tongue.
The spot, embedded above, is a new commercial for geek friendly ISP, Internode – directed by The Penguin Empire’s Grant Sputore. Conceived by the hip kids at Marketforce, it’s part of a larger campaign that offers sign-up offers to pop-culture nerds in a handful of fictional languages – Dothraki from Game of Thrones, Elvish from Tolkein’s Lord of the Rings and the afore-mentioned Klingon.
