“Break The Barrier” continues its global tour of acclaim, this time stopping at the world’s most prestigious ad festival — The Cannes Lions.

The spot’s director, Grant Sputore of The Penguin Empire, was fortunate enough to be shortlisted in one of the event’s highly competitive categories — Film Craft: Direction.

While Sputore came short of the gold, his work was showcased alongside incredible winners like Lurpark, Bud-Light and, of course, Volvo for their viral “Epic Split” campaign, starring Jean Claude Van Damme.

“To be recognised alongside such spectacular work is humbling and incredibly exciting,” said Sputore.
